My Approach
As an integrative therapist, I work with each person as a unique individual, using a tailored combination of therapeutic approaches. I avoid labels and rigid models, instead drawing from a variety of modalities, including:
- Trauma-informed therapy
- Psychosomatic therapy
- Psychodynamic therapy
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Compassionate Inquiry (CI)
My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and deep respect for each person’s journey. Over the years, I’ve seen how people can grow and adapt through life’s challenges, developing resilience and new perspectives.
The word “trauma” comes from the Greek for “wound,” and it can affect both the mind and the body. Research shows that mental and emotional experiences can influence physical well-being. My work goes beyond traditional talk therapy by also addressing the body’s responses to stress, recognising the close link between mental and physical health.
I aim to create a supportive space where clients can connect with their inner resources, develop greater self-awareness, and explore ways of moving forward in a way that feels whole and balanced.
